Pray this prayer of confession:
Lord, I want to be salt of this earth and light to your world, but I fall short. Every day. My prayer is that I might covet the freedom to respond to your love for me with my whole heart, my whole mind, and my whole strength. Forgive me my caution, my self-consciousness, my fear of spontaneity, the praises that get stuck on my stuttering tongue. Make me the glad and contagious follower you created in me to be, thought Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen
