If we confess our sins God, who is gracious and just, will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all our sins. Pray this prayer of confession:
Holy God, you were well-pleased with your Son, Jesus. I know that you are not well-pleased with me when I sin. I prayerfully confess to you the times I should have loved, but didn’t and the times when I acted not out of love, but out of selfishness. Stir up your Spirit within me, assure me of your forgiveness, and strengthen me to do your will, so that all I do in Jesus’ name is pleasing to you.
