To all fathers, whether biological father, step father, or father figure in a child’s life:
Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
The apostle Paul wrote this to his church in Corinth, which was very new at the time. His words were for the people to “father” the church here on earth. It speaks of a very serious challenge to all who “father” in any instance, and is a special blessing for all fathers on this Father’s Day.
